Jenson Button appears to be the only F1 driver that the fans are going to be able to get close to with an appearance at a Target store in Indy. Does anyone know which Target he's supposed to show up at?

question:
why do some fans find the need to 'get close to' a driver? |

Because it personalizes the fans involvement and it humanizes the driver.
our friend freud has a much better answer, I'm sure. |

GOOD POINT, NEIL. I once had a chance to talk to John Surtees and it was a great experience just to chat with the man who was going to drive for Ferrari the next year.

Because they are actually very nice boys, most of them, and it's good to think you met the guy who is in that car when it passes you on the track.
When I see them up close I am always amazed at how young and how SMALL they are. |
