I'd say Button will win first. Sato does seem quick, and he could be the first to win if everything goes right for him...but I still think he's too unpredictable. Button deserves it IMO.

I'd love to see a Button-Sato 1-2 at Silverstone and a Sato-Button 1-2 at Suzuka... couldn't beat that. No sir.

My earlier prediction was that Sato would be quick, make a few errors but start to beat Bunson by about half season...havent seen anything to change my mind yet.

Errr, actually Sato did start to beat Button in qualifying before half season. Sato beat Button in Bahrain, then in Spain, Europe, and US.
And, in race, Sato start to beat Button in US. Actually, Sato had chance to beat Button in some previous races if the engine didnt blow up. |

Lately Sato has been an absolute track animal- seriously aggressive and nothing like what he seems out of the car.

Indeed.
James Allen referred to Sato as being soft spoken in person but an animal on track. Last edited by Led ZeppF1; 23 Jun 2004 at 10:20. |

In the races Jenson has held his own, even when he has been out-qualified, and even taking into account Sato's poor luck with reliability. I'd say they are pretty evenly matched in terms of speed and Jenson is still comfortably ahead in terms of finishing the race (the ONLY thing that counts at the end of the day).
Credit where it is due though, Sato had a terrific race at Indy and may he have many more. |

Well, Sato-san is is determined to provide the team with the win, and create history by becoming the first from Japan to win in F1.
