While Jordan and Minardi "have a choice", it's not a very good one. They could theoretically get some manufacturer to make their engines. For Ford's part, they CAN make a decent engine. If they're getting $20M for Jordan's engines, they should atleast sometimes make it through the race! They have Jordan between a rock and a hard place and are not conducting themselves in an honourable fashion. It also makes Ford look extremely bad when their own cars stink and four of their customer's engines expire.
I'm not going to argue Ford's racing history, but their recent F1 history has been hideous. |
