When asked to compare compare Champ Cars to other forms of racing John Lopes said that "if allowed, Champ Cars are the fastest in the world." He also said that they are looking at a new aero package for next year that would increase speeds by 10 mph.

Yet they have 'hancuffed' the cars at one of the only ovals this year. When would they use this new areo package if not the ovals? And what is going to change next year to allow them being 'released'?

Furthermore, Lola made a presentation to CCWS folks about a 'cosmetic' kit, (nothing about performance inhancing), to maintain the 'freeze' on chassis development.

Fastest on a street circuit does not matter, quickest may; and F1 will still have that honor.
