Overall DR has to take the glory. He put all the elements in place.

he sacked about 60 people shortly after he joined and decisions like that take guts and confidence.

also significant I think is that Honda actually finally listened to Jaques' demands to stop concentrating on just making the most powerful motor and make a small, lightweight unit that helped the car handle well.

Willis/JV, honda and michelin -in that order

What's with the willis/JV thing?
Well he couldn't do anything without a decent budget so that's where JV comes in...or goes out as is the case.
If it wasn't for jaques self sacrifice there would be no budget!

(not a JV basher-just my sense of humour overdoing it,sorry)
