erm, have you checked the definition of a groupie? you are WAY too young to be one, and i don't really want you promoting yourself as one until you check out the exact definition of it. i kinda don't like to promote underage stuff around here. ta.
124 days? good grief... thats AGES! |

So can we have an exact definition of the term, please? It doesn't seem to be under FAQ...

I don't know why people are so down about 2005 being the weakest year a lot of the deals happen late so dont worry everyone.
We'll have some suprise entries |

Suzie Stoddart in F3
I thought Suzie Stoddart was off to GP2, which I think would be the best move for her. However you have got to persuade your sponsor and I guess that this has partly influenced the situation.
Good luck |

No i believe you will probably see her in British F3 next year with Comtec but i think they willhave too have two cars notjust one which they are thinking of. Not easy engineering only one car and a new one at that!! some new circuits it can easily become a big S*&t fight and every body blames everybody else but hey best of Luck!

Interesting that you think Comtec will be in F3 next year. Comtec himself was on here in the summer slating F3 and telling everyone how it was finished so I'd like to here what he's got to say on why he's considering joining the series.
I'd agree its gotta be two cars rather than one, especially if its a first year of running as data will have to be gathered etc. Although in saying that Mr Piquet did a good job by himself and I wouldn't imagine Susie's budget's too far off his! Wonder what class they will race in if they do join up and whether or not they'll run in the famous Duckhams colours? I hope so |

I thought the rumour was that Suzie was off with Fortec and not with Comtec if she went F3. I have never heard that Comtec was going to do British F3 - I would think that would be most unlikely.

I wouldn't take too much information from who's testing for who - it's a lot cheaper to test for a team than to race for them. Most drivers will probably test for two or three teams before they agree a deal with one and, although they'll test F3, if they can only get the budget together for Formula Renault, they won't be doing a full F3 season...

dan clarke? in f3? *giggle* i can't wait to see that one...
paul - they'll still do f3 if they can't get the budget. they'll just do half of a season like will davison did, and everyone else who dropped out before the end of the year in 2004, for example. wouldn't you rather do half a year of f3 and potentially make a big impression rather than do a year in formula renault where you do need 2/3 of a f3 budget to actually win... |

Yes Paul, It does not matter who they test with but I do recall that Clarke openly expressed his feelings towards 'those little french cars' live on tv... so testing with any f3 team is the first step towards chosing a suitable drive for next year I would imagine. I reckon there could be a suprise.......
