What is the most beautiful car ever made?
In obvious response to a similar thread kicking around, what do people regard as the most beautiful road car ever made. Im talking mainly aesthetics here but interested to know what you all think....
It's a tough one I know and many spring to mind, 250 GT Lusso, Mangusta, but here's my ten pence worth.... It's the Jota version of the Muira and I want this one. badly. (remember pics to be no bigger than 400x400 or use a link. |

Ooooohhhh, where to start?
Ferrari's 250 GTO scores highly with me as does the Jaguar D type in all of it's variations. Other contenders for me are the E type drophead, Aston DBR1, in fact Aston DB everything up to 6 (I don't dislike the more recent Astons, far from it, but they're not what I call beautuful) Probably people will say the F40 is beautiful but it's not at all attractive to my eye. |

Jaguar D Type or Ferrarri Dino.
Either would do me, except I probably wouldn't be able to get in a Dino these days - too much weight!! |

Jaguar E-Type, Aston Martin DB4 or Dino. All great lookers. As a modern DBR9 is the best looking race car in the last 10 year for me. |

I think this was styled by Figoni & Falaschi, forgot about this car. Isn't this the car that Jaguar pinched a few obvious design ideas from? Very very beautiful. |

The Ferrari Dino is a achingly beautiful car. Ferrari, have you forgotten how to make cars that look pretty like this car?
I like the Aston DB5 as well, and the DB9 will be regarded as a modern classic in years to come IMO. It is really pretty, and the racing version is stunning! |

Most of mya favourites are race cars, but sticking to the road car theme (in no particular order):
- Lamborghini Miura (especially the SV and Jota that started the thread) - Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato - Bentley 'Blue Train' (subsequently found NOT to be the car that raced the train, but that's how it's known I believe) - Gordon Keeble - Jaguar E-Type Series 1 FHC (NOT the open car and not the later series, which got progressively overweight-looking) Actually, there are loads. Think I'll stop there for now, other than to add a couple of more recent 'looker': - Aston Martin DB7 - McLaren F1 |

KRT, I have many favourites but they are not all beautiful. Gordon Keeble - a desirable and attractive car ...... but beautiful? Same for the Mclaren F1. Agree about the rest though!

Ok, fair enough, though I think this is turning it into a debate over language! I guess a car can look good or attractive without being beautiful (BMW M Coupe, anyone!?)
How about the Ferrari 250GT Lusso then? |
