Internal conbustian engine advice required!!!
I have a mk2 golf gti 16v 1989. I run it at a track day on Sunday. When I checked it over at the end of the day there was oil in the airbox. It looks as tho it has past through the throttle body to get there. The oil breather hose seems pretty dry inside.
The car was used without mechanical sympathy in mind on Sunday so I am wondering if I have done any damage or is it just one of those old golf things. I am aware of oil back pressure though the breather system but not through the inlet manifold and beyond. Anyone got any solutions please reply to "slightly concerned, down souff" |

nah mate id bet its fine. cars get a bit oil n hot n bothered when you wring their necks on a track. extra high cornering speeds and a higher oil temp will get it moving everywhere.give it a clean up but if your worried a compression test will tell you if its off a pot or a bit poorly.
