Daimlerman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cautious Belgians

Coming back on the Eurotunnel Shuttle yesterday after a quick trip to the gastronomic delights of France, the car immediately behind us on the train was Belgian registered with just a middle aged couple on board.

As the safety announcements were made they dutifully got back in their car and, as the train moved off -

PUT THEIR SET BELTS ON!!!!!!!!!

They sat there for the whole crossing staring straight ahead and with the seat belts firmly fastened.

That must be taking safety a touch too far.

Perhaps... but maybe it was just an instinctive thing.

I don't know about that by they recently decided to keep the quaint old rule giving priority to traffic joining a main road from a side road!

Now that is just downright dangerous!!

No wonder they're paranoid about seat belts then.

Very true. I know I always wear my seatbelt, even when I'm just moving the car from one parking spot to another. It's amazing what habits can do.
