Fossett's Drop: Canada

I haven't created a circuit for a long time, so I thought I'd jump back on the bandwagon with a circuit intended to run sportscars series; ALMS etc...

Located in Canada - Fossett's Drop is a 5.5 mile course, through undulating hillside, with a rocky mountain sort of backdrop to it.

Located roughly eleven miles from the nearest big city, the circuit has good spectator opportunities - and the facilities at the venue are second to none.

There are two variants, one with a chicane on the main straight (the straight is roughly a 0.6 of a mile long). Rather than being a simple chicane, the chicane bends right before flicking left - on the main straight, with the added excitment of a steepish incline throughout.

Run off at the circuit is easily looked after, but drivers should be careful exiting The Climb as there is a massive pond just beyond the barriers.

I hope you enjoy this one;

Looks much like a backwards Bridgehampton... It would be extremely fast, no doubt.

For the whole circuit to be 5.5 miles, the main straight would certainly be much longer than 0.6 miles (965m). Much nearer double that I should think.

Nice one, but that chicane is asking for monza style first lap accidents!

Great track. Would probably work the other way around, too. Loath the chicane, though.
