Astons turned me on to GT racing, So I went with the DBR9. I like them all except the MC 12.

I saw it for the first time in 2004, on TV, while it was racing the FIA GT Champ.
Not only it looks very nice and aggressive, but I think it's even better than the MC12 in performances! If u remember, during the first season of the FIA GT 2006, in Silverstone, it couldn't win just because it lost about 10 seconds hitting a piece of rubber, which made the driver go on the gravel. But the saleen was the fastest car on the track, even more than the 2 mc12 (in fact it also set the fastest lap in the race). And in that race no car had to carry the ballast.
Great car...
it would have won anyway, had they known the Vitaphone mazzer neede an extra pitstop, because they only lost by 4 and a bit seconds, and could have pushed more because he had backed off...

550 is just the best engineered race car i have ever seen.

If you look close, it's like production car refinement.
