Ive been searching around and cant seem to find a definitive answer to this.

I know that some rover V8s use a Getrag race gearbox, question is- does anyone know what model/number it would likely be, and where I could get one? All I am sure of is that it has a dogleg 1st gear!

Reason is I have a V8 circuit car with the propshaft and fabricated mount which I was told is for a Getrag, but no gearbox

Thanks in advance for any info on this.
The same box was used for a while in Group A here in Australia. The Getrags gave reasonably reliable service behind 5 litre V8 Holden engines in Commodores.
A bloke is advertising one that has been behind a 13B Mazda in the IPRA Forum if you Google that youwill find it in the For Sale section for AU$ 4500.
Cheers
