Which seat
Hi,
As my second post in this forum i have recently bought a biz prokart 2006 and while the first practice seesions i enjoyed i was in agany with the seat as well being too small. However when looking at getting a new seat i need some advice as to what stiffness i should go fo stiff, standard or flexible. From the little information i have gathered this has a great effect on the way the chassis behaves and thus the setup and feel of the kart. Your help and advice is greatle appreciated as i would like to order the seat as soon as possible. Thanks YS |

Without the ability to try each back to back, it will be pretty hard to determine what your kart "likes" and which suits your style. It is easier to loosen a seat up than tighten it, so I guess I would start on the stiff side. You can loosen a seat up by taking away seat braces, running seat braces loose, and I have even cut slots in a seat bottom to loosen it up. You can stiffen a seat by adding braces, or even strips of fiberglass to the bottoms or sides (hard to do on carbon fibre or plastic seats and pretty messy.)
