There was a comedy group from San Francisco that produced a series of albums, back in the hippie days. In their words...
"How can you be in two places at once, when you're not anywhere at all?" So the shuffling begins in earnest, but it's hard to see where the improvements will occur. Maybe Rahal in a third Ganassi car, maybe a talented driver to fill a seat left open by Ryan Hunter Reay. Perhaps Danica bolts to Nascar? The rest will be a change of seats that won't amount to much, as far as I would guess. |

I suppose with 2011 being the final season, under the current system, there may not be quite the same sense of ergency as everyone focuses on what 2012 is going to bring.

2012? I think most will be more concerned with surviving the anxiety filled long cold winter with no sponsors on the horizon and no money to meet payroll.

Well Star, we already know you're a poseur. First you want us to believe you are hot chick, now you are passing yourself off as a cool dude from Bama.
I think you're really a crapwagon salesman, with a deal lined up to sell the old Dallaras to a sheik in Dubai the minute everybody starts to dump them. And ya just can't wait, can ya. |

Well if you think about it, in the late summer and fall, teams really start making announcements for the next year about all their new driver and sponsor signings and it's been crickets hasn't it?
If there is a next year I think what you'll see fronting up is a bunch of pay drivers at the last minute such as fabrizio croissant, ernesto salami and sabrina de cafe. And then you have ganassi who is already starting to wonder off the reservation. penske might go to 2 cars. Not looking too good there. |
