[iV8SC11-R03&04] Clipsal 500 Adelaide 17-20 March
Not yet Jamie
Not yet James We're off to Adelaide For some more mind games Its our V8Supercars Its second to none This is Fair Dinkum (sheds?) Aussie Formula One... Adelaide Alive, Adelaide Alive... There's no other race like this... So... after some processions, some obsessions, some surprises, some continuation on a theme... who will get their car percolating at Adelaide? Will the 888 rollercoaster slow down, will HRT's speed up.. is SBR a real threat.. can Kelly Racing keep the Kelly Barge in the top 5.. Will Team BOC have a sponsor on #14? So many questions.. 5 weeks till they are answered... I suspect that the 2 HRT drivers will win one race each... we shall see |

Should be interseting, Seems the usual suspects are yesterdays news, and a few others, low qualifying but bring home in the races. Stratergies paid well in race 2, a follow on the last three rounds from last year.
So big budgets, Big names, can be beaten. Should be a cracker of a weekend, look out for some new names in the top 10. David Reynolds Michael Caruso Jonathon Webb Alex Davison Shane Van Gisbergen(first win due) Greg Murphy(been awhile) Paul Dumbrell Karl Reindler Steve Owen Waren Luff Tim Slade and few older guys, Brighty etc. If you go by qualifying, poofteenth of a second difference between top 10-15, then stratergy is the big factor, tyres fuel loads, factor a yellow or two, should make for great racing. I am heading over this year for my first Clipsal. Going with the ute team that I do the signwriting for so it should be fun.

Think it may be similar to Abu Dhabi. Race 1 a borefest, Race 2 a crash fest with a tight finish. Think that it will be a T8 benefit too BUT I expect HRT to go well here as usual and also will pick a Kelly brother as the dark horse.

If someone gets a little bored, can they troll through TSR,s posts to see how many of them end with the laughing, roll around on the floor symbol.
He obviously considers himself to be quite amusing, possibly just to himself ?? |

Maybe all they think they would see out of #88 is an empty track up front.

But seriously they have a camera in #88, just not #888. I'm guessing #11 (#51) doesn't have a camera because KR doesn't run (Pay for?) them? so Steve Owen has taken that spot that Greg used to fill. |

Almost time for the unveiling of the annual renovations at Australia's most dangerous corner.
Turn 8. |
