Hope that rain doesn't last too long into the week Walter ! We are another party that leaves on Wednesday morning and won't be going to the circuit until Thursday evening for qualifying.

This is probably my last post now before departing. My brother-in-law is picking me up at 11.30 to deliver me to the ferry to meet up with James for our crossing.

Can I wish everyone a fantastic Le Mans, hopefully some sun and not too much **** (!) - for those who are going, have a fantastic time, and I hope to see plenty of you at the meet on Saturday. For those staying at home, I hope you can enjoy it too through whatever means you can find + RLM.

These next two days will be the least productive of my career. If it weren't for the fact I actually have a big work deal tomorrow, I wouldn't do a thing.

You should try going to LM midweek every year, then you'll realise that the two days or so you do "work" are always unproductive!

Well home and waiting to pack the car, Helen (elaviel) about to get her first drive of the car, as she is now on the insurance, going to pick up this years newbie and a tank full of petrol then it is the fun task of trying to put everything in it tonight leaving room for the cool box and us early tomorrow.

hopefully will see a few people before friday but if not see you all either in the pitlane or at the meeting on saturday, have a safe trip everyone

Just a quick post to say that James and I are safely ensconced in our hideaway on the outskirts of Le Mans. Just enjoyed coffee with several members of the Radio Le Mans team, including Paul Truswell, Charles Dressing and Joe Bradley. For the first time I have a laptop here, so will be on here from time to time. I've just brewed a cafetiere of real coffee before James and I head out for dinner!

the wonders of modern technology your in le mans and still on ten-tenths if you are around TR on wednesday evening get james to send us a message and we can arrange to meet, if we manage to get beer into the campsite might even be able to offer refreshment.

I'm at work to 5am, then back home to pick up the last few things that I forgot to pack before work, after that it's time to hit Dover. 8.10am crossing for us, should arrive sometime after 4pm. Sleep will be sometime after beer and BBQ

I've been going since the 1960's...funny now I have a son in an LMP I'll be watching again on good ole eurosport, listening to Hindy in the comfort of my favorite chair, with access to drinks, grub and a loo for the entire 24 hours!

Bags packed, car packed, on Eurotunnel at 0950 tomorrow, and picturesque 6 hours to the vicinity of Chartres to look forward to.

Subject to the whims of the 3G and WiFi gods I'll try to keep up, but failing that look forward to seeing some familiar friendly faces over the next few days.
