Masters at Donington 4th September

What can I say? We finished 12 minutes early last night, all be it still after 7 o'clock, and today we finished before 5 past 5 all down to the sterling efforts of the Marshals (and Di & Steve on the radio), you really are stars, thank you one and all from the Masters Racing Club, see you next year - same weekend.

I will repeat what my Race Control colleague has stated and also give my thanks to you all. Outstanding efforts all round and as FC has said, we would not have been able to save time and finish early if it had not been for your hard work and quick responses to any incidence that occurred.

Thank you all so much.

stretchered into the rescue unit.. clutching his leg/foot.. needless to say.. the car was much worse off....
i had the unfortunate task of dragging the car to a safe point so it could be carried off on a stretcher.... well a flat back recovery lorry..

Was there an issue with a spectator as well?

Thank the stars for that! From Starkeys, it looked worrying the way he dropped from view (understandably), but didn't re-emerge. Would have hated for that to put a crimp in an otherwise damn fine weekend!!!

aa.. yes the chap that decided to block the outer road as the rescue unit was trying to take the first casualty to the med centre.. as well as the tractor trying to return to redgate... he was well enough to drive his car up towards post 7 then decided to just stop....

So it was you riding shotgun on the tractor?

I have some snaps - but I'm not sure I can post them on a public forum for fear of frightening the uninitiated ...
