There is the problem.
The GC date clashes with - deep breath - BTCC Brands, DTM, Sardinai rally, Petit LeMans, and many other high profile events. 1 week later and many more drivers would have been available - calendars what a nightmare |

When you stage an international-flavoured event, you ideally need to work with the series you're planning to poach drivers, cars, and crowds from. This is the sort of bone-headed move the organisers of the Super Touring Bathursts made |

Frosty, Whincup and I really think Tander will be strong, might be decent odds on Sportsbet....

Just a thought...
Would Casey Stoner be eligible to drive in next year's Gold Coast 600 - presuming he has the entire year off as expected...? |

Actually GTR, it looks like a clown fell out of the ugly tree, hitting all the branches on the way down & THEN threw up on it, followed by the ugly repair crew sent to " re-uglify" the tree doing their job on the car instead.
Don't know what they're thinking - not real attractive on TV so the sponsor ID kinda gets lost. |

By the time the weekend is through, it'll look like it's done a ram-raid on a pizza shop.
Testing for the internationals is today. Which teams will knock the fast laps? Which teams will be foxing? Which teams will be floundering? My guess is that that #1, #888, #5, #6 and #55 will be up the pointy end as usual. I think the surprises will be from those normally seen from position 20 and beyond. |

Perhaps they can replace that rubbish with something that's entertaining for everyone, not just the knuckledraggers.

We have gaps in the racing programs for various reasons, the entertainment fills in those gaps. We could just leave it blank, but instead we chuck a motorbike or a burnout car
Now think off a way to fill in the gaps for us that meets your criteria of everyone. |

haha they all are , definatley hope they dont sponsor FPR, Monster should be the major sponsor of FPR now that they ditched T888, how good would a Monster on Winterbottoms car look like, be a good little battle between the fizz drink companies. Pepsi = yuck. |

Monster do not now and never did have enough cash to sponsor a main game car, despite their protestations of being so annoyed at 888, they were never in the game but they are trying not to admit it.
