Fogarty on 500

Was it not Carl Fogarty on the #68 Cagiva in the 1993 British GP at Donnington Park, replacing Mat Mladin for that race. I think he finished second, or qualified second, i gues the ride came about because the same guys owned Ducati and Cagiva.

yep thats the only race I remeber him on a 500 , he may have done a few more but I remember that one well , and yes he did finish 2nd , i believe he had a brake problem im not sure , i may have to dig the tape out on that one , allthough I do remember a big shunt one the first lap with Dohhan Schwantz and someone else when Mighty Mick made a big mistake and took them out.

alesi95 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
He had a go for the 1994 British MotoGp but he qualified in the lower half of the top ten and had two shunts in pratice.
He decided that it was to risky, a further accident could damage his Superbike prospects. He promptly withdrew his entry before the race.

Just for the record he should have finished third in 93, but a mechanical problem robbed him and Nial MacKenzie took third
