Autosport magazine GT500 silly season report.
*A new team might participate in GT500. *Lexus -Ryo Hirakawa might step up to GT500 (LeMans? or Tom's?). -Tachikawa/Hirate and Nakajima/Rossiter will not change. -Nakajima gives priority to WEC till LM24. *Nissan -No new comer. *Honda -A young GT500 driver (Yamamoto?) might participate in an overseas formula race.(GP2?) -Fred Mako will choose either WEC or GT500. According to Juichi Wakisaka's blog,

GTA announces the 2014 participating vehicles qualification.
The FIA-GT3 vehicles that are set up in the 2013/2014 Blancpain-BoP or FIA-BoP can join the GT300 class. GTA determines FIA-GT3 BoP uniquely. BoP between JAF-GT300 and FIA-GT3 is set up by vehicle type. http://as-web.jp/news/info.php?c_id=2&no=53281 |
