hey, I was bored and wondered what happened if I researched my dad on google, and this forum came up. I saw your question of, 'does anyone know what happened to Michael Bourner', and yeah i do. i dont remember if it was before or after the porsche but he raced a renault at some pont. Then his son (my brother) began karting, so he stopped rallycross to help him out... we still have both the porsche and renault, but they dont get used anymore

haha i will do, from what i've heard the porsche seems to have gone through a few rough races, haha. I dont remember much of it though as i suppose I wasn't born for most of it and was rather young when he was racing.

Replacement for the Paseo, or you going to run them both? Be interested to see what the Boxster turns out like!

replacement for me,
my team mate Hannah uses the Paseo for hillclimbs, but I think she is on about converting it into a rally car, and having my wife co drive for her. I'll still be running the Paseo for 2015 in super mod, but no more upgrades, and its keeping its standard engine all the cash and effort is going into the Porsche... which also means the delorean is on the backburner |

Nice it'll be interesting to see how the Boxster stacks up against the other MR cars out there.
Also - is it a bit sad that I like build threads? It's interesting to see a car take shape and make the transformation from road car to competition car. |

Hopefully it will go well :-)
I don't have a build thread, but there's always updates on our Facebook page :-) https://www.facebook.com/AngrySpiderRacing |

Looking forward to seeing this car. I've always liked Porsche's and particularly the Boxster. As the early ones are available relatively cheaply these days I've often wondered why nobody has built one for rallycross before. I assume you'll be running in the BTRDA championship?

yeah i'll be doing the BTRDA, and probably some of the british too
Hoping the car will be ready for a couple of outings next year, mainly to test and see how it goes, ready for 2016. Though porsches seemed to so popular in the 70's and 80's, its strange how they seem to have gone out of fashion. maybe as they are pretty expensive as a base car compared to a 206, BMW, Clio etc. I have a friend who works at a Porsche specialist, and I get the parts from them for a real good price. they even let me borrow panels to make molds off |

I seem to remember Colin Richards running a black Porsche back in the 70's.
