Simmi and Rennen have listed the actual order. Keselowski is 31st. Which is an absolute joke, he should be 34th.

Reading their top 10 list of GT drivers, no surprise that Gimmi Bruni was no.1. Toni Vilander was at the opposite end of the list at no.9

The Kes being 5th was their "points ranking" based on results.

There's just 49 drivers there.
IndyCar / Nascar:
As a South American, I think that R Barrichello and M Rossi should be in the list, rather than Bamber, Meeke or Stoneman. |

Buemi and Davidson won together with Buemi being the stronger of the two. Lotterer and Jani were the best in their teams. Why should a 2nd driver, albeit a very good one, be ahead of any of these 3? Apart from being British, that is

disagree, is true that lotterer shown better performance than his buddy treluyer; but jani has never been clearly better than lieb in #14, so buemi has never been clearly better than davidson in #8. IMHO.

Buemi was very good, and when it comes to pure speed he was equal to Davidson, but Davidson was almost faultless and is a bit better in traffic IMHO. Both were better then Lotterer this year. But if it comes down to pure speed i think Nakajima edges them both slightly. It would be really fun if he is moved to the #8, then this crew will be even better than the #2 Audi, and they are nearly perfect.

Agree, nakajima this year was the quickest among toyota drivers. Problem is that in #7 there was a super nakajima only part time but the slow wurz-sarrazin duo full season... #8 is more balanced, with two great drivers, quick and reliable.
I still think that Lotterer is the best sportscars driver, just look his laptimes at le mans with a fixed and hybridless car... |

What touring cars did Wittmann and Ekstrom drive this year? I only recall them driving prototypes and GT cars.

Audi's decision for the promotion wasn't based on a comparison between their driving in the GT3 category this year, I doubt Vanthoor was even in the running. Rast got the R18 seat because of his LMP2 experience/performance among other possible contributing factors. I'm not British and British bias is a pet peeve for me, but I would personally favour Davidson over Buemi as the better driver in the #8 this season. They were as closely matched on speed as can be, but Davidson didn't have the spins or off road excursions that Buemi did. |
