How ever, that wasn't necessary per regulations, as SMP F4 is/was a zone event (NEZ championship) and not an international series. So national track inspections are OK, and no FIA grade is needed. FIA track inspections of Alastaro and Ahvenisto were likely valid for one year only. And as they don't host any international events, there was no point to pay for renewal. And how exactly can you know this? I guess it had one but doesn't have anymore. Just like Alastaro. |

Why do both have two "Pole Position for Standing Starts" lines, and one is Left and the other Right?

I think pole position for standing starts is usually on inside for first turn (unless track license states otherwise (a rare occasion where it's more profitable to start outside (like auto24ring where the first rightsider is part of the main straight and the first real turn is left))). On rolling starts, who ever has the "pole position" may choose to start on out- or in-side. As far as I know, this is somewhat standard procedure at European racing circuits.

Yeah, but both are listed as "Pole Position for Standing Start." On both forms.

I don't know about auto24ring; but I have never seen a standing start at Ahvenisto where the pole position was outside (left). |

Nice to see the new Audi in STCC.
Although they are all Volkswagen group so far it's good that they're not all Seats. |

One rumour talks about a temporary circuit in Örebro.
Skövde is missing from last year so it could also return. |

IMO most likely LMS drivers are:
- Antti Buri (may also choose to act as team manager only) - Joonas Lappalainen (Audi TT Cup champ. whos dad runs a Formula STCC team) - Emil Westman (took part in one ADAC TCR race with LMS) And for the possible second car: - Kari-Pekka Laaksonen (to help balance the budget) - Antti Buri... |

Confirmation about one of the Sport Promotion cars: http://www.mynewsdesk.com/se/stcc-ab...lmaerke-201567
Will be driven by Clio Cup champion Marcus Annervi. Greger says at least two of the Hondas will be in STCC and they're hoping for the third as well. |

What is Sportpromotion? Is it a way for a rich man to spend money in motorsport? Or is it a serious marketing company that's in the business to make money?

To answer the question, a very serious company with some serious financial muscle. Greger's private collection is pretty nice: https://youtu.be/kkvIQuNGs6k |
