Autocourse British Motorsport Year

Can anyone tell me what years these books were produced ? I can only trace three editions - were there more ? If not it's a shame as they are a great record of the seasons past.

supertouring should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I have only ever seen 3 - 95, 96 & 97.

I also checked the Chaters website and it only lists these years.

However, earlier in the year I purchased (on Ebay) another book (A5ish size and softbacked) which was for 1984 but it was not an Autocourse book. It also contained reviews of other UK championship as well as the BTCC. I cant seem to find it at the moment to give you the full title, but I will when I do. I have not seen another like it before or since.

Bugger! That's what I'd expected but it's disappointing nonetheless.

Thanks for the confirmation.

I would be interested to hear details of the other book you mention...

I did mean '94 rather than '84, and I cannot seem to find it (worrying!). Will continue to look.

It is called "Motor Racing Yearbook 1994-95" and was published by Words On Sport and written by Phil Bradley. Covers F1, BTCC (approx 60 pages), Indy Cars, Le-Mans, F3, F3000,FF.

While on the subject, did you ever get the SuperTouring Magazine? Ran in 94/95 but disappeared following the 96 preview issue. I was keen to see if I had missed any. I have never seen them on Ebay.

Autocourse

In front of me is the 1963/64 edition. Oh yes, they have been produced each year but I could never justify the new price. Inderviduals who could afford to buy them valued them and they rarely used to come on the second hand market as a consequence. I found mine in a second hand bookshop years ago. You have just forced me to awake old memories, I will have to re-read it. No its not for sale.

Publishers take over publishers and books can be published by sub-divisions, so who published it between 1964 and recently is unknown.
My copy was published in 1964 by:-
"Autocourse Publications Ltd, 14 Great Russell Mansions, Great Russell Street, London WC1".
From memory there has been a continuous publication every year from those early days to present.

For this information I would greatfully receive a full set of every copy - I wish.
