Why is DMSB doing their own BoP? Why don't they pay a few German bucks to Ratel's gang? He’s five feet tall. He has a catchphrase. And he’s a hugger. He can help!

SRO BoP is all done on Pirellis, whereas VLN/N24 has open tires. And since this season, there's also a bespoke Nordschleife aero-configuration, that mandates more ride height and a narrower or more forward-mounted rear-wing.

Different tire brands are no reason to not take Ratel's BoP scheme. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

LG probably means last generation, the only other car marked as SP9-LG is a Walkenhorst-run Z4 GT3. Looking on the FIA homologation list, it seems like it's GT3 cars with homologation done before 2015 (Bentley is 2014).

If it has, it wasn't big enough to require a re-homologation it seems.

guess there isn't much to evolve when about 70% of the performance of the car comes from the brutal engine.

The nationalities seem to be fairly liberally applied. Seems to be more down to the address used or where licence issued rather than what passport they hold.

Yeah that's quite common. Paul Drayson was often listed as America, as he used an American racing license. I think he was blind in one eye, which meant the FIA wouldn't give him one. After he proved he wasn't a danger he got a British license I think.

Good choice, Stuart and Lotus! (y)

Which part of the track do you choose? Me and my friend will build our camp @ Adenauer Forest.

We tend to stay around the GP circuit, then wander round the track during the race.

Oh, our neighbors had a small barbeque on thursday evening. I thought they were so excited, because of my techno-set 30 meters away.

First time in 5 years I'm missing the N24 this year, so get your money on BMW to win!

(They've won Spa the last two years when I couldn't get there)

Trying to decide whether to avoid the result and watch back or to just give in and follow along whilst mountaineering in Scotland...
