Well the screw-up at the last pitstop won them the race.

But really ... well deserved win for them

Managed to follow about 10-12 hours of the race. Had a bit of trouble actually following the race itself, as it is the first nurburgring 24 hours I managed to watch, but the end was worth it though.

Great job by Land to win... and that fumble was just the stroke of luck they needed!

To be fair to Graham he clearly said first African, second American.

But anyway - awesome race. Probably managed to watch 16-17 hours of it around work. Pretty happy with that.

Two of the nicest, most passionate and most hard working people at the Nordschleife celebrating a well-deserved N24h victory. No one deserved it more than the Land family/team, and for Connor, to take his biggest career win (yet) on the day of the 101st Indy 500, it is poetic.

Is that Ferraris first victory in VLN? I know they've never won the 24. Must've won a race back in the day at the 'Ring surely?

I think the Hankook Farnbacher Ferrari 458 GTE won a race in 2011.
Is the First victory for the 488 GT3

2011 was the only VLN win for Ferrari ever. Chances are, yesterday's win won't be Ferrari's last. They very much enjoyed the N24h. But more on that later this week

You're welcome It took me some digging as I had completely forgotten that Farnbacher actually took a win with the Ferrari. Back when I didn't care so much about VLN yet so I missed that race. Rinaldi was also celebrating like it was Ferrari's first so I was in good company

Was a GT2 that Farnbacher won with, so we can still say it was Ferrari's first GT3 win.
