Don’t understand this post at all.

I think her experience and wins on the board more than show she cut the mustard as a race engineer. Hopefully some more opportunities in the Indycar paddock open up for Leena

The position light boards were removed a few races ago because of a glitch and have not returned. Could this glitch be a falling out between the series and the light manufacturer? Has anyone seen anything about this or know the real answer?

Being a little disingenuous with the comparison there. Being a member of a big engineering team is different to being the race engineer, leading the car. That's not a fair comparison.

Anyone who expects any engineer in the world to move into something as specialised as IndyCar and be any good within 6 months is utterly deluded as to how complicated motorsport is. We've seen Formula One champions struggle in NASCAR. It's not because NASCAR is too hard and everyone is much better, but rather it's a completely different discipline. Attempting to discredit someone that quickly is poor form and shows a lack of appreciation for the sport. It's not just 4 wheels bolted to a car anymore.

I am trying to understand where the campaign against Gade is coming from? Plenty of engineers to INdycar have taken longer to find their feet and in contrast - where was Hinch on the championship ladder prior to Indy?

It's not like she didn't have competition in sports cars. Often that were faster than her cars. This is also a more luck-driven series, depending on when yellows fall. Not that I'm bashing that, mind you.

It is a bizarre stance, that's for sure. Ignore years of proof to judge based on 5 races. After which her driver was as high in the points as he's ever been. A driver who always seems to have something to complain about when things don't go his way, and things are seldom his fault. Though he does th complaining in a way that doesn't seem to bother people as much as when others do it.
