Some info on front end aero changes for the BR1s. Apparently it will cause some loss of top speed, which is convenient.

Well "probably" the (rumored/predicted) + 350km/h won´t happen after all!!!!!

Unless Rebellion surprise us!!!! Tomorrow we will see what happens :-)

I think this car (SMP's entries) are a potential dark horse for the race. They are pretty good in pace and they are going to get stronger as they get to know the new aero better. Good top speed too even with the changes.

And the car that didn't wreck blew an engine with about 45 minutes to go after spending two hours in the garage with electronics problems. Some will say that AER didn't let us down with an engine failure...

The BR1 was one of the more tested lmp1's actually. The cars are too new imo. Once they get back to the shops they'll be better suited. I think they'll be much more competitive come Silverstone.

I am a bit disappointed with their performance too. Dallara is able to build reliable cars and this car is problematic at the least. Because disbelief is not propagated from disbelieved beliefs to the beliefs they justify, they really to show a better performance in the next race.

Difficult one to call in my opinion. The Dallara's (SMP & Dragonspeed) were on the back foot right from Spa and more offs and a continuation of the electronics gremlins meant they didnt get chance to recover that at LM. However, when they were running they showed good pace and the SMP cars could have given Rebellion a very close if they'd kept it all together. Hopefully a close battle between these teams for the rest of the Super Season.

The 17 ran fast and reliable until the accident. The 11 had lots of issues but the terminal one wasnt surprising. An AER engine failure isn't a new thing unfortunately. 10 was a bit all over the place but without trying to criticise anyone, it's never going to compete with Hedman in it. He's a lot better than he used to be but you can't have Hedman V Jani and expect Dragonspeed to come out well. No offense to Hedman of course, but that's just how it is.

The Dragonspeed was quite fast though when Van der Zande was behind the wheel, on pretty much the same speed as the SMPs.

I thought Hanley was great in the car. He did most of the running and kept a good pace.

The car has potential and it will continue to improve, the SMP cars have good driver lineups and the dragon speed car can keep up if others have issues.
