Really looking forward to the weekend and the race. Does anyone have any info on the Ginetta entries or any entry lists for the support classes? Thanks 👍

As a fan watching the race on TV, I think the Bathurt 12 hours has let us down the last few years. It has all the makings to be a spectacle, but the frequency of the safety cars just kills it.
Maybe the smaller grid size and that its mostly GT3 cars will help. I saw the pictures that Graham is posting on DSC. The grid looks fantastic aside from that hideous Target looking livery on the Lambo. |

I thought streaming started already with the first support races but apparently not. Maybe friday (local time) then with the first main event practice.

Ginetta Australia has withdrawn another one of its entries, leaving just the one G55 to be driven by Brad Schumacher, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge round winner Jimmy Vernon and former Supercars racer, Karl Reindler. Entry thus down to 40 cars |

Full schedule here: https://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/schedule/
This is handy timezone converter: https://time.is/compare type "Sydney" as the location and you'll get a nice table of converted times from current or specified time onwards. |

The #540 Black Swan Porsche had a big crash and subsequent fire at The Chase in FP2. Apparently spectators entered the track and went to put the fire out.

Oh my. Not a good start for the weekend and it has to have some time since spectators have been on the fire brigade, no?

There's some saying on Twitter that the marshals didn't react. Pappas wasn't getting out of the car, so the spectators got the track side extinguishers and went to put the fire out. |

Doesn't spectators entering the track result in a rather large fine imposed on the organiser from the FIA?

No, but I was hoping that he had learnt enough that he wouldn't pull exactly the same stunt as last(?) year ...
