Forda should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
So why even consider further nobbling the Mustang, when clearly any "parity" issue is with the ZB, and 888 in particular, not being able to aptly engineer the linear spring?

What next - mandate the Mustangs have wheels purposely fall off, to keep them inline with the opposition?

Is Holdsworth safe for the year? Getting towelled up by his teammates more often than not. Is he not gelling with the car or team? Or just not up to task?

Will Davison is proving his class. Makes me wonder why he’s not mentioned in vacant sat chat. Clearly the million dollar pay cheque’s aren’t around. He’d look good in Shell gear.

It would appear Mr Davison is struggling to fit into the pecking order at Tickford. Not getting the desired pit strategies, due to sharing a boom with the preferred Mr Waters...

he was also linked to a TCR and a 2nd Tier seat.

Word doing the rounds is Cooldrive want to switch marques.
Also rumours about Petronas sponsorship .
Cooldrive is a Petronas distributor.
So if they want to get them on board, Cooldrive may need to move form a decent team, snag a top driver, engineer etc etc

Petronas has been on the car a few times. Most recently at the AGP!

They are locked into 888 pay-to-upgrade ecosystem, presumably without the capabilities to design and manufacture their own upgrades.

A double-wishbone front suspension is hardly rocket science, you'd think Tekno could design and manufacture their own competitive item? However, said well designed component does seem to elude WAU too...

Surely things were better in the days when small teams like Larkham Motorsport, Cameron McLean Racing, Mezera Racing, Faulkner Racing, Brad Jones Racing, Prancing Horse Racing, Team Brock (Rod Nash Racing), Briggs Motorsport and others designed and built their own cars (or at least their own upgrades for abandoned 00 Motorsport BAs)? "How hard can it be?"




Imagine if Briggs were a mere sans-machine-shop customer team, beholden to the upgrades designed by others, when purchased by 888? What a setback.

Well that’s the problem when you are a customer of another team. You get what they give you. Of course there is still innovation, even if it is restricted. Certainly it’s closer to the road going version than it has been

It’s a good job these teams do it to be honest. Keeps some teams going. I feel this series has a good balance and it’s a great tin top series as a result

Isn't the problem though a financial one, in that the cost for Teckno to upgrade is the issue?

Second to that, how much further benefit would the latest 888 gear actually provide anyway? It's currently not doing much for 888 themselves.
