Jack65 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Auto Action reporting this week that rather than conduct an auction, Supercars is negotiating directly with interested parties, including Scott Taylor and Peter Adderton, for the 2 RECs returned at the end of 2018.

The Blanchards are reported to be keen to switch to a Mustang having decided its is a better fit with the CoolDrive brand image. So where to for BJR? Does Macauley Jones leave the fold, not without precedent Andrew Jones drove for GRM and Tasman before returning to the mothership.

Jason Bright will either need to field an entry himself or sell it, which obviously will have a ripple effect for Matt Stone.

Aren’t Mr Slade and Mr Percat out of deal at season’s end?

Slade yes, Percat no, signed until end of 2020. https://www.foxsports.com.au/motorsp...647-1554975998 Not that a contract counts for much these days.

What you can't tell from those comments is when they were made or what questions prompted them. Right now this parity thing is journos drumming up page views, and it is working its arse off.

Not much point trying to get Clicks when you need a subscription

Thanks to fomoco for posting the article so it can be read.

Dane's smarter than this, he knows aero is not the reason his team look average so far in 2019.....he also knows how to distract and the gains that can come with that distraction.

CL made the comment that the ZB was built around the linear spring package. So the fact they have moved to a singular springs is proving the major problems.

I thought it more likely Scotty heads overseas and Chaz replaces him while Fabs remains. No proof, just seems the perfect time for Scott to leave - young, dominant, connected (Penske), maybe multiple championships to his name..... Much better position than Ambrose was in, who was quite respectable over there.

Chaz I see has having unfinished business. Definitely has the potential to win a championship. Interesting to see him, Fabs and Ludo having jovial conversation at Winton.

Pure speculation of course

Scotty though has DJRTP and the potential to win a streak of championships, Chaz is more likely to go OS, well because Tickford clearly has the fastest car seen in Supercars for a long time, but Chaz is still in 6th in the championship.

Interesting. I don't see that at all.

Win races? Absolutely.

Being in the right car at the right time and having a consistent season is probably not on the horizon.

Both of you make fair points. I'll admit Chaz hasn't been the same since the "big one" at Bathurst

Which is far more preferable than the touted 'summer series', which was originally planned to kick off at Sandown in 2020, or something equally ridiculous.
