Yawn, this is why people don't bother posting in this place anymore,

Your countless troll posts yet people get infractions for calling you out on them, get a life.

Why should Scott be penalised?
  • Fabian caused an incident with Scotty

  • Dave Reynolds caused an incident with Courtney

  • Scotty got pushed of the track by Fabian beeing on P2. As a result of that he cut the track over the wet gras let Courtney and Reynolds pass and enqueued in front of Chaz. Before he was pushed out he was behind Courtney and in Front of Reynold and Chaz. So he did not gain a place, he even lost one. Why should he get penalized?

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy, but I've seen blokes penalised for not rejoining the track ASAP in the past

I second the quote/motion.

Not a bad result considering what transpired on the first lap. I was hoping for a Chaz victory, and for Courtney to get up on the podium. See what happens tomorrow.

I was hoping for a Chaz victory too. But I see no reason for penalizing Scotty.

Seriously?

He put himself in a risky position. Got hit off the circuit and cut a few corners and you have no problem with that?

Called risk vs reward. He risked and should off lost. Simple as that. Check the odometer of all the cars and the winning car didn't complete the race distance.

As for GTR's troll/bait. You must be a sad lonely person. Just trying to finish off what's left that Pecky hasn't already destroyed?

Not champions luck!

The rules stated that if you run off at turn 5, you had to re-join prior to the t9 flag post. I’m which Scott did before T8.

Scott did nothing wrong.

Yes, seriously.
I cannot see anything he did wrong.
Fabian did a mistake, lost momentum und Scotty passed him an the right side. In the next leftcorner Scotty was in front of Fabian .
You can see both onboards (12 and 17) here.
https://www.supercars.com/videos/cha...n/?cat=default

BTW: I hoped Chaz would win, so I'm not a fanboy of Scotty. But here I see nothing wrong. And the rulebook too says he was doing right.

Seriously cannot wait for the Sunday races - I love when they set ridiculous precedents like this on Saturday, then (whilst fresh in Joe bloggs mind) have to back it up the very next day.

Popcorn is definitely ready.

Also, if redressing is "banned" doesn't that mean Scott ( or whoever) has to re-enter the track EXACTLY in the position he left it? Ie. Go off track in 3rd, cruise over to 8, get some speed up (still of track), wait until P1 and P2 pass then gas it up as much as you dare (on grass) and throw yourself back on track in front of P3????

As I said, popcorn ready

ITS a Farce,
I understand the situation and its a very grey area, whether Fabs caused the accident or not both should have rejoined in the same area of the race track. One cant join first and 1 join last no matter who caused the incident. Fabs then got the penalty so he got served double.

Personally Mostert should have been awarded the race.

On another note, I hope Pither races well today

Drivers in the past have had to yeild, or cop time penalties.

It's the drivers responsibility to read and sign the slips their given explaining the rules of the day at the meeting. Obviously some did, DJR/Penske for example. What we don't know is who else would've done the same thing if they found themselves sliding in field at the same spot. 888 woud'lve in the same situation.

Maybe next year throw some of those large foam barriers to block access. Force them back on track further along,

Pither's doing well. I wouldn't object to him he replacing Stanaway.

If someone could explain what infringement constitutes a 5 second penalty as apposed to a 15 second penalty that would be lovely. Eg. Anton's 15 today vs Davey's 5 yesterday?

Harsher penalties on the Sabbath????

Your guess would be as good as mine.

I'm not sure anyone can explain that.

Apparently, it was 15 seconds if you punted someone and they left the track and 5 seconds if they didn't

That's because of technical parity, it may result in the best team and driver winning but the entertainment value can suffer.

Good to see Pither do well

Like or dislike Stanaway I don’t think any of us wish an injury to force a driver out.

I fear this championship is well and truly over with the domination of Penske right now. Soooo much quicker than everyone else.

The big question from the weekend was on Friday.

What is the difference between a Ford Excel and and Holden Excel?
