I don't think I've ever voted on an F1 race but it was a good one today. Think it's more like an 8.5 but if Indy can be as good it will be a good day of racing. And then pulled pork, bourbon and cigar

Not for me, nothing changed after the early stops. Bring on the Indy 500. Current F1 has outgrown Monaco IMHO.

It outgrew Monaco at least 30 years ago! It hasn't just outgrown it, but it's children have outgrown it.

You should have done as ApexTurtle - turn off the telly.

Anyway it is less than 5% of the season. It's fine. The rest of F1 is boring too!

Home made pizza for us. Hoping a conveniently timed yellow to sort it out.

A normal Monaco "race", tension but little action. 2

The indy race wasn't any better for 186 laps.

Relying on Castle Combe tomorrow for some motor racing

5. It's Monaco. No point having any greater expectations. At least Charlie boy livened it up for a short while in Kamikaze fashion.....

If you found Monaco – and F1 as a whole – boring then perhaps you should re-define your parameters, chum. Watching the world's best driver wrestling an under-shod F1 car for 30-odd laps round a tight street circuit with the Flying Dutchman up his bum is as good as it gets. And that's before we even start on the history, the allure, the glamour and the spectacle of the Monaco GP. Like Spa, Silverstone, Suzuka and Monza, it's the lifeblood of F1. Ask any F1 driver, past or present...

I found it full of action. It’s typical of the street circuit. We had a close race at the front too. I always love watching this race and look forward to more traditional races like Spa and Monza. The spectacle is as good as the racing

Really as good as it gets though? I'd rather have actual passing going on, like FE and Indycar manage to do on street circuits. Rather than just everyone following a slow car nursing its tyres seconds off the pace but no one able to pass it because there's no room. That's not even a race.

2.

I only found myself daydreaming of owning that turquoise superyacht loaded with 40 female models (like Eddie Irvine did back in the day). Was there a race?

Going to give it a 6. Somewhat interesting with Max's effort and Charles' story. Plus a rather respectful event to the late Niki Lauda. Usually I want someone else to win rather than Mercedes but found Lewis' win somewhat deserved and I kinda wanted.

This was a poor and boring race. If the Red Bull team did not release Verstappen unsafely from the pit top, the top 5 would have finished where they started.

Try telling that to Magnussen, who started 5th.

A natural 6, elevate to 7 by Leclerc and Verstappen.
