Looks like Chaz has that one covered.
Pity his next comment was cut off. |

He just had a go at other people posting, but I think a fair few are happy to see a current driver engage a "troll", not that I think of myself like that; Lee is a journeyman flattered by a fast car.
I have been called some pretty good names. |

Tickford arguably has 2 journeymen, an inconsistent occasional front runner, and Richie Stanaway’s codriver in his Sandown win.. |

Big question, will Randle be in the top 10?

Having the best car "in theory" is an interesting concept, as this is exactly what Team 18 and Frosty signed up for just prior to the season's commencement.

Not relevant anyway, don't need to be a, racing driver to have an opinion.
If Lee couldnt crack a podium while the Mustang burst out of the blocks against Holdens in all sorts, he isn't likely to get one now. Lee is up 11 spots on last year Will Davison up 9 spots Cam Waters up 8 spots All of them could be higher but for incidents, particularly friendly fire. The 3 of them didn't just work out how to drive in the off season. The car is the reason for their upturn in form. If Randle does nicely and I was Lee I might justifiably worry. He is a long time past his best. Sponsor relationship could be the key perhaps. I think that is Cam"s saving grace, he is, otherwise a bit ordinary. |

Looks like the general consensus among your facebook 'peers' is that Chaz owned you.
Insofar as being x amount of spots up, that cannot be definitively measured until the end of the season. Unless you compare where each driver was placed in August 2018 to where they are placed now. Nevertheless, there are lots of reasons for those driver's improvements this season other than the Mustang alone; including 888 not having their act together, and Lee escaping from the hapless Team 18. |

Oh the Kellys, WAU & BJR don't have their act together either right? Waters was higher 2 years ago but both Lee and Will were in the boonies. Also the hapless Team 18 is only 150 points off Holdsworth with a pole to their name for the year, in a single car team. |

I did a search and didn't see it posted, but Walkinshaw-Andretti are sending a Canadian and American over for the big race:
https://twitter.com/FollowWAU/status...29433312264197 I don't really need incentive to watch Bathurst, but I will make an extra effort this year to find the full race as I like both of these guys. It's tough as it often "conflicts" with my home race, Petit Le Mans and will again this year. |

If they use Janet Guthrie & Johnny Rutherford as their benchmark then they should be relatively successful.
It will be doubly hard with both drivers lacking experience rather than having co-driver roles. |

Oh boy
https://www.speedcafe.com/2019/09/04...nBGqq73RpkKFc8 In honesty the gurney flap should have been done at the first adjustment. But watch all the Ford fans on FB have strokes today. I guess Nissan just changed some stuff but it isn't a good look, as much as I think it is necessary. |

Crompton and Todd Kelly both resign from Supercars Commission:
https://www.speedcafe.com/2019/09/07...qKzYIkmNpYqxH8 insinuation is that they were not notified of the latest ZB change, and perhaps don't approve of it. Truth is this commission oversaw the launch of the Mustang this year which was thoroughly ballsed up. |

What has been "ballsed up" is the never-ending handicapping of the Mustang, hence the resignations.

The Kelly's will go Mustang next year and I can't see anybody else buying a Commodore or trying to develop anything else. Despite 888's dominance in the overall results, they were always beatable, Scotty in the Volvo, and DJR & FPR both proved it with series wins, and plenty of other people were winning things and taking Jamie close to the wire on his series wins. Now, Scotty is literally untouchable, with a points system designed to keep things close he could win with 2 rounds in his pocket. The only reason the Mustangs are not taking up the entire top of the chart is that other than Scotty, the rest can't string a result together. Fabian stinks by comparison, and Chaz must have passed half the field twice this year because he's able to, when he makes a mistake, which is often. The rest don't even rate a mention. 2 has-beens and a guy from a reality TV show that probably should have done something by now. |

Not sure exactly what is your point here, but perhaps Roland would have been better off taking his own advice, and built a Mustang; instead of trying to homologate a FWD hatchback into a "Supercar"?
