Does Scott actually owe Plato money? Or was it just Plato letting off some anger

If I remember correctly, Jason was quite open about being owed money on Twitter after the pit lane incident earlier this year.

I doubt we'll ever know if that is still the case however.

Wasn’t there a rumour last year Plato had stumped up money for engines when Mountune stopped supplying BMR.

JP was involved in facilitating the switch in engine supplier. I suspect this involved financial guarantees but don't know.

Didn't Mountune stop supplying when they stopped getting paid? Rather than BMR choosing to switch supplier?

Yes, but I seem to remember the BMR crew spinning a different story on ITV claiming it was a performance related decision.

Sam Tordoff won't be racing this weekend following the terrible news that his baby boy has passed away.

That’s immensely sad for him and his wife. Hopefully they’ve got the support around to help them through this.

Poor Sam Tordoff and his wife, as if motor racing hasn't had enough bad news in the past week and a bit.

Absolutely awful news. Sam has a close family so won't be short of support, but I can't imagine how devastated he and his good wife must be feeling.

All the best.

Performance related decision. Yes absolutely it was. The Subaru had a big hole where the engine should be and it produced 0 bhp, or - 10 bhp due to TOCA meddling.

The performance increased when JP paid another man to supply an engine to put in the engine sized hole.

Assuming Ash does leave at the end of the year, who are they going to replace him with who can drag the Levorg to where he can? Plato and Proctor are no slouches but they didn't/aren't getting anywhere near Sutton's results
