Military airfields are definlitely an option - Man Utd used Marham for their trip to Norwich at the weekend so they're clearly up for helping out (can't imagine that'd just be a UK thing). I thought that was quite interesting as Marham is where the RAF have got their new shiny toys (F35) so if anywhere was going to be off limits it would be there. Then again Marham is huge so it's easy to keep people away from the intersting stuff.

Marham, like a number of other RAF stations such as RAF Northolt, have been open to civilian use for many years.

The only source I could find that had a TV schedule for the revised season, was the Radio Times. Nothing on C4's website.

This is the current TV schedule for the revised season and terrestrial TV, C4. are only showing the first British GP/

There is only one British GP.

The other race is called something else. 70th Anniversary of F1 GP or similar.

You are correct, there is only one British GP and therefore I think they should have called the first race, The 70th Anniversary British Grand Prix and the second The Pirelli Grand Prix at Silverstone.

There were over 50 people there just to watch 1 old Merc go around on its own in 5 lap stints a few weeks back. Cars parked up along the dual carriageway and around the outside of the roundabout. I'm sure lessons will be learned from that and giant structures will block all viewing. The villagers are more concerned about large numbers of people chancing their luck and then going into the village shop or pub before/after, with all the inherent risks that may pose.

What is it with these people? Why do they think that them doing whatever it is that they want to do is more important than the health & wellbeing of everyone else? It is the same mentality of the morons who thought it was a good idea to crown onto the beach at Bournemouth. OK, I'm maybe a bit sensitive about this because I live in Leicestershire but the rest of the world must think we are stupid (and by connection, the people of Leicester even more so!).

Just been watching a few sim racers going around Mugello in "current F1 cars" and while I'm aware that it's not an exact science, it seems absolutely mental. Flat through the back section after the esses and up the hill especially seems like it'll be generating some face bending g-forces.

god i really want this to happen. f1 should be all sorts of random challenges not a whole bunch of artificial tilke nonsense.
