Yep, the last 16 laps or so. Kept getting darker and the rain picked up back up, so it was pretty crazy. Allmendinger and Briscoe had a great battle for the lead as well.

Apparently there's a risk/chance of rain during the Cup race as well. I'm kinda, sorta hoping it will

Would love to see the Grand National (xfinity) series drastically increase their road racing schedule. It could become a place for road race ringers to run full time. Win race and get into the "playoffs" for the championship. Does the series give drivers an automatic ticket for winning a race? Allmendinger is certainly playoff worthy. I'm not sure if he is in it or not though.

It will be the first time for Cup. They've had rain equipment a couple years but never a need to use it before.

The season is already in the playoffs, this was a 4 driver cut race round, and he was just running the event as a stand alone event for the team. Think Cup stands to cut drivers from the playoffs today as well.
