I can't give you a clue, however, I will try and help.

In my 'Odd-one-out' puzzle the make/model/technical specification had no bearing on the answer, it took only a sharp pair of eyes to spot the difference. With that in mind look at each car, and say what makes it different from the others.

There is even a small clue in the text!

Sorry I haven't had time to reply but the answer was clear from the clue......just couldn't make the answers fit my assumption.

Presumably the Volvo is an Amazon, and there a FIAT but the rest I have no idea about

Simple!

Fiscar = French,[B] Italian, Swedish, Czech, American, Russian.

1 Kurtis Kraft. 2 Zill (or something Russian) Tatra, Gordini, Fiat. Volvo.

Someone should have spotted that.

Something for the historians;

Q1. Who is this Alfonso Antonio Vicente Eduardo Angel Blas Francisco de Borja Cabeza de Vaca y Leighton, XXXXXXX?

Q2 What significant statistic links Max Verstappen to Giuseppe Farina?

Q3 can you link Michael Schumacher to Peter Gethin?

Q4 Maurice Trintignant, Fernando Alonzo, and Mike Hawthorn share a statistic. What?

Q5 In what year did British drivers win all of the WC Grands Prix?

Q6 In winning the 1954 World Championship Juan Fangio did something no other driver had before or since. Any ideas?

This puzzle is for the more erudite poster, forget it Mi .....etc.

In view of comments on the Bell's Banter thread, I can tell you that all of the cars shown in the last Puzzle are Coopers, so listing them alphabetically requires some form of differentiation. Age is not important, neither is Type, so what else could be different in a fairly wide range of models?

RBS had it straight away, but then he would, wouldn't he?

The use of 'foreigner' was intended to assist in confusing what is a simple question, The answer lies in a similar way to picking out the only man from a group of ladies, or an MG from a pack of Aston Martins. ie; one is 'foreign' although as RBS pointed out in his answer, the foreigner is the only one not foreign! Does this help?

Midge, this one is for you, six MG's and all you need to do is find a multiple F1 World Champion, probably from your era. Close examination of the images will reveal the necessary clues and then it is down to your crossword skills.

Good luck

Crikey..... im impressed. With both the question and the speed of the winning answer.

I was still looking at pictures in bewilderment.
It obviously had Max's name all over it..... oh wait.
Well done both.
Cheers. Or should I say Prost.

MM did send in the answer by PM, and I advised him to put on the thread, he deserved the kudos. You had the answer so well done it is not winning that matters, it is taking part that counts.

Lancs, when setting these puzzles, as you will understand I know the answer (?) so when looking at it on the forum it seems obvious to me, and I think I should make it harder.
I can sympathise with your predicament (well I ought to, really), I suppose seeing six mis matched pictures with no obvious connection and some Smart RRRs telling you the solution is simple, would be frustrating.

I will grade my efforts in future 1) Hard, 2) Harder, 3) Impossible.

Nice to chat,

Baub.
