Well Turn 3 has been fun this morning, more than a few DPis took the motorcycle route with full smokey lockup, HEAVY tailwind gusts pushing them. Guessing 11 and 12 are fun as well

So as I follow the sessions during the workweek, I've discovered a timing option that I was having trouble finding. Those who follow WEC or Le Mans may be familiar with the timing71 chrome extension. Basically if you have access to a page that uses the timing data, chrome can open a new window with perhaps the more traditional timing71 layout with delay and column options. Both wec and imsa have made efforts to brand their timing pages, but have cluttered the display with fan guide type displays and images.
For wec the timing page to go to is just their live session, though I found for imsa you can get to it using: https://livetiming.alkamelsystems.com/imsa and just navigating to IMSA. Maybe not interesting to some, but I find this the timing equivalent of having an informative commentary team compared to a broadcast with infomercials, endless recaps, actual commercials and pointless story telling. |

All the currently existing GTP cars for 2023 are on site here. Haven't been able to figure out where yet but they are supposed to be together at some point.
Would be cool to see them do a demo lap, but that is probably too much to ask. |

Just finishing up race 2 of the Carrera Cup and I still can't figure out how there is a Pro-Am category in a single driver series?

It doesn't refer to there being two drivers, it's basically just the Porsche way of saying 'semi-professional', or more specifically, 'professional amatuer'

They just announced over PA that the LMDh cars are on display down in the paddock. I gotta figure out a way to hobble down there!

Andy Blackmore has some, I can't physically make it down the hill to the paddock.

Can anoyone tell me when the (main) race starts, preferrably as: in left time from now on?
I have some difficulties in matching the different tie zones and summer times etc... |

The race has already started, as of this post, there's 9 hours 54 minutes remaining exactly.
I hope it helps. |

If anyone had "#60 MSR gets mugged in traffic," on their card, cross it off.
It was Bamber, not Albuquerque though, and he's already taken off. He could catch the #10 which is almost a lap down due to its tyre stop. |

Leaders very quickly amongst the GTs.
Bamber takes advantage. |
