poor Dan, from championship winning team to the back of the grid team, Hyundai seat prices must have gone up or what ?

Looking at recent results, it still looks like a better position than his 2021 seat. (HARD. finished ahead of PMR in both Teams' and Independent Teams' in 2022 )

Hush, don't you know the internet is no place for facts! Can we please get back to slagging off HARD and Dan's pen?

The usual reason behind Hard's troubles is the cheap seats mean corners have to be cut. Now if Dan takes the same level of budget from 2022 to Hard for 2023, it could make a huge difference. Add in the new engineer who is taking a fresh look at the Cupras over the winter and we could see a change in form for the squad.
The downside to the stable set of rules and the BoP is that there is very little between each of the cars, so budget then plays a massive roll. Reliability issues kills weekends and stifles any championship hopes. Trying to re-use certain parts (brakes, tyres, etc) means you will be a few tenths off which is now the difference between the front and 20th. |

Anyone has any idea or heard rumours about what Gamble is up to next year? Honestly, after such a rookie campaign it'd be a huge shame to lose him.

With Cicely out, it will be interesting to see if any can pick him up. As you say it would be a shame to lose him, as he is a race winner |

A lot of teams were very impressed with him last year so he certainly isn’t short of admirers. Personally would like to see him at WSR but I think perhaps Speedworks or Motorbase would be more likely.

Yeah, the seat at WSR would be awesome but with Morgan and Hill confirmed there, probably there's no space for Gamble. I guess Turkington and Jelley will remain with WSR.
I'd say Speedworks is probably most likely but of course the most important aspect is money. |

Personally glad to see Dan remain on the grid. His budget has dictated his seat but a SEAT is a SEAT none the less (yes im aware its a "Cupra" jn badging)

At Speedworks? That would be a strong trio. But a large amount of sponsorship leaving Dynamics….

Wasn't Hamilton in line for the 3rd Corolla last year that never happened? And if the seats at Hard are filling up...
A couple weeks ago-ish saw they were doing a big corporate event with Toyota and Butcher, which is hopefully a good sign the relationship will continue (of course nothing to say the contract hasn't ended since then!) |

Just started watching the BTCC review DVD today. The first round at Donington seems like it was in another season than 2022

Just seen the ITV BTCC review. Great programme as usual. Great to relive so many great moments, including seeing the finale at Brands on the TV having been there. Can't wait for 2023, hope to attend more

Seats seem to filling quite quickly this year, assuming as seems to be expected that
Turkington Jelley Butcher Cook Osborne Jackson Shedden Rowbottom All stay with their current teams there is probably only about 8 seats left already. |

I wonder what Dynamics' next move will be. The FK8 was completely out-developed by the Hyundai and Toyota this season. Shedden got results in that car that it really shouldn't have been able for but Rowbottom was nowhere this year. Despite that they're continuing with it (not much choice I suppose).
