These days the sound feels almost muted, at times, during the broadcasts.

I'm running a temp receiver but in the past, I've been able to change the settings enough to make the noise louder than the commentary. I need to upgrade the Facebook marketplace $20 replacement.

I had completely missed this, but apparently there won't be any stage breaks during the road courses this year. There will still be stages and stage points handed out, but no cautions. Very interesting!

Yeah, this removes one of my pet hates. In fact my biggest hate currently in NASCAR. The needless cautions take potentially a lot of strategy away from the racing.

I hope they expand it to all racing in due course...

I’m thinking of saying in the sportscar subforum that IMSA are thinking of introducing stage cautions for the 4 and 8 hour mark in the Sebring 12 hours next year.

Qualifying for COTA on at the moment. It is certainly one for the white line enthusiasts.

Button leading Ford in first qual. Chevy all the way at the pointy end.

Love how they started the race with no guarantee there will be any restarts with the no stage breaks. Really guys? They didn't make it 2 full laps. Get your TV breaks in now cause we keyboard, and directly to your face if you walk around the track, warriors will call you out.

They appear to be doing that, working in a interview with Chase, but this caution period is getting close to IMSA levels

If it's paved drive on it. See last year, I think, at Indy when the drivers complained the track was failing. It wasn't, you were driving in the damn curb they installed to create the chicane. Watched it brah and break until a car hit it and was destroyed.
