Because you can never be entirely sure what, at some point in the future, may be considered to be unacceptable.
In addition, Microsoft's AI is pretty dire for the consumer but does permit MS, et al, to enact controls whether such controls be appropriate or entirely unreasonable.
I really doubt that there is any truly effective way to reverse any random poor decision that some experimental AI system has made on your behalf about you.
