You have a good eye, for a photo, Peter, I like the varied angles that highlight the 'racing' aspects of the cars, something I must admit I am not too good at.
And of course, the older the car the more interesting they are photographically.
Sadly spinulosis means my Ace Photographer days are over, it is difficult to take decent snaps trying to hold on to a walker, so you will have to increase your input to the Parade.

You are too kind Bob, but thank you. I have been trying to get media passes for some events. The HGPCA has issued a covering letter but hopefully a few other clubs will help. Since I'm no longer racing I still enjoy the events. You still gave an archive to share so keep well.

Hi Peter I thought the same so I've looked it up on the DVLA and apparently it's a 1963 Tornado Talisman (with a 1300cc engine).

Was this, then, the model (not necessarily this one in the photo) that Zef had been restoring a couple of years ago? And shame that he is rarely on here nowadays.

The actual car posted was I guess recently sold.... it talks of a FIA spec rebuild

Tornado Talisman ‘547SYC’

First registered 1963. Believed originally one of only four ‘touring’ specification Talisman cars produced. Purchased in 2007 with a view to restoration and rebuild to FIA specification. Rebuilt across 2008/9 and, despite having been used sparingly due to family commitments, the car has been the subject of continued upgrade and development.

Ad then goes on to list full spec. All steel 1360 pre X-flow Ford, GT^ / Triumph front end.

Im not sure I have ever seen what I think is a late 50's Ferrari 250GT "Tour de France" before. (Car #22, 3rd pic down in Revival 'B'). Of course it might not be that. Anyone?
