vauxhall should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

....WHEN THE ETCC [EURO SERIES] START TO USE THE BRITISH RULES ?? WILL THE BTC DIE OUT??

I HOPE NOT...BUT WILL THE TEAMS GO TO THE EURO SERIES?

I THINK THAT THE BTC NEEDS MORE WORKS SUPPORT LIKE IN YEARS GONE BY...AND NOT TURN INTO ALOAD OF INDERPENDENT TEAMS......NOT THAT IVE GOT ANY THING AGAINST THE INDIES, JUST WITHOUT THE WORKS SUPPORT, ITS JUST NOT GOOD MOTORSPORT.

..OH YEH..AND BY THE WAY :

VAUXHALL ASTRA IS *THE* CAR IN 2001

Welcome vauxhall. Do you mind turning the caps lock off.

Don't see any reason why the BTCC should die out to the ETCC. Look at GT's for example - the British series is going from strength to strength despite (or maybe because of) a strong FIA series. In terms of budget the Euro series is always going to cost more and for many of the independents it's the best they can to stay in Britain, let alone trek half-way round Europe.

I think we'd all like to see more works teams but there's nothing with a grid of mostly independents. Again, look at how well the British GT or National Saloons have done with minimal works support.

It's a good thing that we don't have too many works teams. We need the indies to make the grid bigger. If there was more manufacturers, then it's likely that the indies will be falling behind them.Another disadvantage of having works teams that it will raise the costs because of new technology.

that is a good point, with restricted testing, it should make it harder for the manufacturer to introduce new technology. Cheers Vauxhall, I didn't even think about that.
