Ferrari Prototype?
I was watching Windtunnel on SpeedTv and Dave Despain opened with a little news bit (which included an aerial shot) about a fire today in Maranello that appartently damaged a building where work was being done on a Ferrari prototype program. He said the project is being relocated to another building at the Ferrari facility.
Anybody have ANY clue as to what prototype he may have been referring to? |

That made my ears perk up also... but i think they ment prototype road(Modena replacment?) and F1 cars.

Just prototype in the general sense (as Patrick B) said.
Sportscar racing just started using this word a few decades ago as that was the idea of the prototype racers - in theory we were meant to see these are developments for later road cars... |

i doubt it, Edmonton, Maserati would not have invested in the Maserati C12 only to change to a LMP.
