Martin's Grid Walk
Is it me or are these getting increasingly surreal - last week he was happier schmoozing with bikers which in turn inspired the King of Spain to promise to call him all of which utterly fazed Sete Gibernau who was practically grovelling at being in the prescense of his king
This week he was more intesrested in interviewing the other people on the grid - who are you : no-one famous then why are you here - and you ? oh I'm the race director's new best friend - fantastic stuff ! |

it was a bit daft this week wasn't it but it did make me laugh when he tried to talk to Trulli and Trullii ran off in the other direction! A tad nervous before the race maybe!!!

It amazes me that Martin gets any of the drivers to talk before a race, not sure i'd be happy if i had someone sticking a mic in my face before a race.
Put Eddie Irvine down there and do a grid walk, bet he only chats up the women |

As per the interview with Irvine and Herbert. Poor Johnny couldn't get a word in edgeways!

Th Grid Walks are always a bit random: can be great, can be average, can be poor......all depends.

I love the grid walk, best bit of the ITV show...well, the only good bit - they should just have that as the pre-race coverage.
