I think what was impressive about the Toyotas' pace was that they seemed to be consistently lapping in the low 1:49s.

Which means that, just like Daytona, they're keeping it close.

At the end of the session, both Vanwall and Glickenhaus were around 4 seconds behind. The Hybrids are on the move, better pick up the pace, guys...

So is the Vanwall really 4 seconds a lap slower than the rest?

We're in the second session, and Vanwall is still lagging behind. This is not good.

It is their first running. I'm not even worried about times. Logging miles is the goal I'm sure. Plus the car was design for smooth circuits not the bumpiness of Sebring

And this is why you need a track like this, to shake out the problems and find the trouble spots. It's more than a track, it practically a Lab where you can find out if your car can take the punishment.
Said it before and many manufacturers have realized, if you want to do LeMans you have to do Sebring. Just ask Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Ford, many others... |

Looks like the Porsche-Ferrari rivalry is as strong as ever, with only tenths of a second between the two teams. This should make quite the discussion.

WEC GTE Am and IMSA GTD times seem are going to be right together throughout the week.
