Damn. Double bummer. That's a complete about-turn on what's being banded around about Honda. Such a shame.

Let's hope some Toyota success might change Honda's budget for 2014 so a 2015 car/partnership will come true.

Its the thought that counts!! Atleast we know some guys at Honda are clutching at the straws eagerly awaiting the opportunity. A huge difference in morale vs some other car companies..

Though come to think about it - could they get around them if they started with a Porsche roadcar - and perhaps not the GT3RS - instead of modifying an RSR? |

Nicest bit of this story is how Herr Baunach has kept the Kremer name, so many people in that sort of position would take the physical assets and IP and dispense with the brand.
Always had a soft spot for Kremer back in the 1980s and 90s, was sad to see how the brothers fell out and departed from the scene, and would very much smile if there was a bit of Kremer magic back on the grid. |

Jose Maria "Pechito" Lopez and Matias Rossi participating in next year's Le Mans 24 Hour race?. Javier Ciabattari try to assist the duo and asks the driver seats OAK Racing. Pechito Lopez has discussed also next year with PeCom Racing.

If it's a LMP2 Pro-Am entry, I won't get very interested. PSG16 is supposed to become the Fiat TC2000 works team in 2013. So I'd like to see a AF Corse-backed Ferrari 458 with an all-pro lineup.

Seriously, I think one can modify a car as long as they get said parts or modifications re-homologated (Doran-Ford, team Robinson). |

Dont know about that ..... Kremer has been away from top line motorsports for a long time now , but they do have a long history with respect to running Porsche's .
If their planning on letting Manthey tame the P1 , why not Kremer for the GTE car ..... but Felbermayr/Lizards might get first call for that job . |

As others have said Kremer need to get back into the game running an AM car or something similar to begin with. Maybe in whatever becomes of the ELMS and maybe the name (and even a classic livery) could get them an invite to the big show in June.

Thinking about it , I reckon with Kremers experiance , it wouldnt take them long to swing the axe again ..... my thoughts are about Achim Stroth , has he still got the edge the team would need for a manager ?
The 2 Kremer brothers , Erwin & Manfred have split up , and thats a good thing as they were always differing in their opinion . Real sad they never raced that ISRS K9 car they built , their own one I mean . They went with a Ford powered Lola B98 after that , but never really did much with it .
