Seems like today was very eventful and was hopefully good to watch for the Spectators. I caught an early ferry today to get back home at a reasonable time having driven 1150 miles to watch the car cover a very short distance. We are thinking that a new book needs to be written..... "400m at Spa"....very unlucky, but I guess thats how it goes sometimes. However, the team enjoyed a lovely afternoon and evening at the bar swatting wasps and drinking cold beer.....very civilised.
Very much looking forward to next year and the success that it will undoubtedly bring. See you next year ! PS Tony........13 Twingo's ! |

The race was very nice to see. A good fight in Race 1 between the DP01 and the Tyrell. Also good action of the Ascari on saturday, drifting in La Source, searching the Point to Break and great fireworks in Eau Rouge
Fotos are online @ racerspics.de direct into the album Regards Ralf |

Although some are being delayed by one week or so, as a result of other events in the US (there should be a total of 188 pictures, eventually), a few photos have been put on motorsport.com

Nope, i didn't even know he owned the car, let alone the Minardi was at Spa. I know for sure he didn't run it for the weekend. So no, i don't have any pictures from that car, all the others, yes.

Yeah, like i said, he can use another car every race.
Does he still own the 2 Tyrrell 025's which he used to race a few years back? I thought he also owns a Dallara (1991?), Ferrari F93a and a Williams to? It's just mad. I also have some pictures of the engine bays @ Spa, but not that many. |

Saw this interesting car for sale; http://www.speedmastercars.com/car_d...55DE2&catID=73 from Britsh F3000 in 1990. It would compliment Chris Woodhouse's ex Superpower/DAMS Lola T90/50 also a Richard Dean car although this run ran in British F3000 in 1991.http://www.flickr.com/photos/25587179@N06/2879372067/

I know it is early doors, but any news for 2010?
Calender? weekend format? Any change to eligible cars? Any rumours on new and/or interesting entries (I hear there may be a few pseudo F1 ferraris gathering dust not in australia). Has the series been able to smooth over the problems they had in britain? have the powers that be thought about getting some decent PR? (this thread will be 5 years old next year, there has been no website for all of 2009 & I don't think the organisers realise how much fan interest would be generated with a 'come see F1 cars for a tenth of the price of a Grand Prix' ad in local press) |

Courageous I think the most diplomatic reply would be that the series is a "sleeping giant" due to the lack of PR. The potencial for more spectators/entrants is huge however this has been discussed to death on previous posts here..........
