Well it seems clear enough to me Gallagher crunched the car too much and couldn't foot the repair bill as it wasn't factored into the budget, so Tony's stumped up the dish for the repair so he drivers. Don't forget the teams taken a hit with changing engines too. Can understand Gallagher being cheesed off but Tony's got a team to run!

Touring Car Times saying Andy Wilmott was in advanced talks to take the seat but another team protested it. A messy situation, but I'm sure Tony will get several 24th places to shut up the critics.

I'd love to know what's really gone on here. I know it's nosey, and it's really none of my business but I like Keiran a lot and think in a reliable car he'd do a decent job.

Perhaps, and this is completely unfounded and a rough guess, KG found out that Tony had Wilmot lined up for a drive next year instead of him and took it quite personally. As I said, with so little facts that's merely a guess, but I can understand Keiran being a bit hacked off about it if it's true.

Tony is a good driver and a genuinely decent bloke, at least that's how he's always came across when I've met him so I won't believe anything until the real story comes out...if it ever does.

Looking forward to seeing the car back in the pink/green livery though!

with engine boost adjustments he may have done better in his old Civic than MG

but if he is to leave 888 where the heck could he go ? buy a seat at BMR ? or maybe Team Dynamics ?
